Festive Red #Handmade #Folksy

Thought I would have some Festive Red on here today. I know other areas of the country have been getting sunshine but here in Norfolk it has been dull, grey and dreary for days. So although you may not need brightening I do. Also, very handily, there was a thread on the forums showing off lot`s of red items, so they are all in one place. Can`t be bad.
Yesterday... was feeling rather grotty because my sinuses are playing up, which is a real pain, literally. Not what you really want to hear, but I thought I would share it with you anyway.
I started a scarf and pulled it out and started it again. I finally finished the hat I had been making and was pleased with it this time. A different style of hat. All I need now is some decent weather to get all these hats photographed, four now and a collar. By the time the weather improves there will probably be quite a few more things. Sales seem to be picking up on Folksy as people are beginning to realise how close Christmas is all of a sudden. About 6 weeks I think I saw someone remark. Eeek!!
I think I must be one of the few people who are wanting it to get colder so that folks start buying their winter warmers. Is that mean? Probably and once it gets here I will be sorry as I don`t really like the cold.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

I thought I would show red today
and make you all come out to play.
Festive because the season`s getting near
only six weeks, it`s almost here.
Better be quick, get your skates on
get it over with and done.
Decorations and present buying,
I can almost hear you sighing.
Lot`s to do and lot`s to get.
Have you even started yet?
I`m doing my best to help you out.
Want something different? Just shout!
I know these goodies look festive,
hold on now, don`t get restive.
I just wanted to see something bright
and red is such a cheering sight.
Happy and cheery, bright and bold
and it goes so well with gold.
It brightens up the festive season.
Do you need another reason?
So get buying now before they`re gone,
with so many there is only one!!
