Boot Camp #Handmade #Folksy

As sales have been a bit slow so far this season Mairi of Maram Jewellery started a Folksy Boot Camp to help and encourage us all promote more. Each day this week we are doing something different to promote each other. For some it is venturing into uncharted waters as they set up new accounts and get to grips with unfamiliar sites. I would have found it very handy last year when I started, although to be fair I had loads of help and advice from other sellers on the forums. It`s very good as it reminds you to do all the things that sometimes you allow to lapse. For me thats Craftjuice. I used to remember to put my newest listing on there daily, now I remember intermittently and have to put a whole batch on at a time. Must make the time to catch up with that.
Also have to make the time to finish my CRAFTfest stall. Had a brief flurry of adding pics, then in a bout of enthusism added more pics and descriptions, but still have quite a few things to do on there. Adding links where the items can be bought would be useful... hmmm... will get there eventually...I hope. Maybe our bootcamp needs a CRAFTfest day, perhaps I`ll suggest it. It all depends, I suppose, on how many of the group have CRAFTfest stalls.
Was at work yesterday, still feeling a bit under the weather. By today though I shall be feeling a bit more human, fingers crossed. Finished a collar and well on the way with another hat, which should be finished today. Am praying that we have some brighter weather so that I can take some better pics. All the ones from the other day were a bit dark or too bright where the flash went off. I did list a collar from that lot of pic taking but am hoping to improve on it drastically. Nine things now to take pics of, 10 if you include the collar already listed, oh dear!
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

We`re having a Boot Camp this week
because lot`s of sales is what we seek.
It`s not really what you think
this said with a `nod and a wink`.
It`s really a virtual Boot camp,
don`t even have to light a lamp.
But we`ll be grafting hard,
very little time to be a bard.
Promoting here and promoting there
helping each other, it`s only fair.
Some have been there longer and know,
while others still have the seeds to sow.
It isn`t easy doing that bit,
less time to imagine and sit
creating each and every new design,
making sure it looks so fine.
But no promotion means no sale
and we really don`t want to fail
at this task we`ve set ourselves,
so we`ll just have to be busier elves.
But we do what we love and love what we do,
making wonderful creations, just for you!
