Magical Butterflies #Handmade #Folksy

I spotted a thread on the forums about butterflies, it was a last farewell to the butterflies of summer and unable to resist them I had a look. What I saw was so irrisistable that I thought I would share it with you.
I think most people love them and are fascinated by butterflies. They are so delicate and can be such beautiful colours. Even the plain coloured ones have an ethereal magical quality about them. Well I think so anyway.
So that is why today we have have a plethora of crafts with butterflies on.
Now what did I do yesterday.... Listed a fluffy scarf and later in the day a new hat design I made over the weekend. It will be ideal when this really cold weather hits us soon as it covers the head neck and ears and looks fab too. I managed to photograph quite a few of the things I made while I was away. Including some fabulous crocheted mittens and another new style of hat, that I hope you will like. I have lot`s of new scarves and collars too that I shall hopefuly get round to listing before long.
Won`t be today though as I am at work in the real world, very likely wishing I was here.
I have started another hat in red and it will probably be a similiar style to todays listing, but who knows it could change mid creation, which is how the cream and navy one came to be. I started out with a completely different vision in my head but I was pleased with the finished effect anyway. Kind of hoping to get round to the original design if only I could grow another pair of hands.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY the MAGIC!!!

A butterfly fluttered by
I just love to see it fly.
So delicate and pretty too,
such a lovely thing to view.
I love to see them flit around
in places where flowers abound.
Why do we like butterflies so much?
Something about them seems to touch,
a special place in our heart and mind,
everyone seems to love them, I find.
I went to find some made immortal,
in doing so stepped through a portal
and found a magical array
to give you a fabulous display.
If all of these make you sigh
then why not own a butterfly.
I have found a great selection,
especially for your delectation.
I hope you like what you see,
they can be yours for a small fee!
