I shall be returning home today. I hope you have all been having as much fun as I have. You probably won`t be hoarse from talking like I shall be.
I will have lot`s of newly made creations in my suitcase, all ready to photograph. I always take a lot of yarn with me, usually more than I can possibly use. That`s because if I get an idea for something completely different I want a selection to choose from. I think I take more care choosing what yarn to take than I do selecting what clothes to take.
I think I`ll put a few gift ideas on here today, carrying on the same festive theme. I went more for things that came as gift sets to give you better ideas. They do come in a range of prices, so do pop over the shops to have a look.

I`m coming home on the train today
and I`ll still be busy, crocheting away.
If you see someone sitting in the corner,
reminiscent of little Jack Horner,
that will be me creating hard
and trying to think like a bard.
I`ll have a notebook nearby
and now you are wondering why.
In case I get some lines of rhyme
I have to get them down in time.
I`ll be busy thinking as I work
never any time to shirk.

No computer where I`ve been to stay
so much more time for crochet play.
Only texts and calls on my phone,
now you think I`m an old crone.
Not sure about internet on the tiny screen
can everything really be seen?
Maybe a laptop I should get,
perhaps, but not just yet.
For now I`ll carry on the same way
it will do for me each day!
