Halloween #Handmade #Folksy

Not long to Halloween now so I think I might do a blog or two showing Halloween goodies over the next few weeks. I suspect there will be quite a few, or at least I hope so.
Seems so wrong to be thinking of Halloween when the weather is still so hot and sunny. Even more wrong to be making all the winter warmers in this heat. It`s warmer now than at any time in August, very strange weather.
At this point though I am reminded that we have dire weather on the way apparently. Sitting here looking at a clear blue sky it doesn`t seem possible. The worst part is, when the temperature drops we`ll really feel the cold after this heat wave. You had all better get stocked up quick, with all your winter warmers, before your favourites go.
Don`t forget that I will be doing a giveaway next weekend. All you`ll have to do is leave a comment and become a follower if you aren`t already. It will be up from Saturday to Monday.
Yesterday I did a load of housework then had a visit from the older two grandchildren. They decided they would have lunch here and then my grandaughter did the ironong. Yay!!! I don`t like ironing and she likes to earn extra pocket money so it`s a win win situation.
I also got some more crocheting done and did some knitting too. I finished another hat and a collar/scarf in yet another different mix yarn. I`m just loving all the different colourways available and really enjoying the creating with them.
I also managed to get a whole load of photos taken too. Some of them were things already listed that I wanted to add some pics to or just do better ones and others were new as yet unlisted items.
Okay waffle over.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

Halloween`s a really spooky time
and the subject of this rhyme.
Ghosts and ghouls will roam the earth,
trying to scare for all they`re worth.
Witches and warlocks will be making magic
let`s hope the results aren`t too tragic.
Pumpkins glowing so big and bright,
their scary faces give you a fright.
Jack o` Lantern is their name
and scaring you is their game.
Lot`s of little ones doing trick or treats
I don`t want a trick, I give them sweets.
A pumpkin goes in the window,
so that the children all know
we are taking part once more,
are ready for the knock on the door.
Once the goodies are all gone
then it`s time to end the fun.
The pumpkin goes, the message is sent,
the time for trick or treating went.
The kids look cute, the costumes great
for Halloween, I can hardly wait!

I can't believe it's almost here, with all this gorgeous weather we've had just lately.
We were away this weekend, near the coast, but weren't able to take a paddle in the sea, we were too busy cooing over our new grandson!!!
