Gift Ideas #Handmade #Folksy.

Thought I would do a blog with a variety of creations that would make lovely gifts. Of course not everybody likes the same things but these are a few I spotted on the new listings and also by putting gifts into the search box.
Christmas is getting alarmingly close now, although the late warm weather had us thinking more of summer. Now it is getting a lot colder and we are becoming more aware of the winter season and the festive season. Must admit the last few mornings have been very chilly.
What did I do yesterday? I was up a bit later than usual due to partying the night before. Didn`t know if I could be bothered to go but we had said we would and went. So glad I did as it was a great party with lots of wonderful conversations and plenty of laughs. The food was good too and the cakes were divine.
I edged some baby blankets with pink for my daughters friend who has just had her twins rather early. The blankets will be fine for them to use though as they are organic cotton and have washed them in eco liquid so they are ready to use. Once washed they are so soft. They were soft before but are even better now.
What else did I do? Took some pics for more listings, found my p60 ready to see the taxman during the week and did more crochet. Finished the all in one got on with the new ruffled scarf and thought about making the thumbs for the mittens.... hmmm.
Anyway, before guilt sets in I am going to stop waffling and do a rhyme about the party methinks.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY and then go shopping!!!

Went to a party the other night,
the room was a pretty sight.
Ballooons of red, white and blue,
ribbon ringlets all askew.
A lovely chap`s retirement party
nothing there arty farty.
Just lovely people and lots of chat
joking, laughter and all of that.
A very young sixty five
on the jokes he did thrive.
An amazing friend made a cake
and cupcakes too she did bake.
They all looked so very scrummy
and they tasted extremely yummy.
Lot`s of food in a lovely array,
they put on quite a display.
The taste was as good as the look
that makes it great in my book.
Good company, music and laughter
can`t get better, a happy ever after.
We stumbled home quite late that night
probably looked a funny sight.
But we don`t care, cos we had fun
that`s all that matters, when all`s said and done!!
