Final Halloween! #Handmade #Folksy

This is a final Halloween blog today because it is getting so close. I have noticed as I went looking for goodies that lot`s of items have already gone, so if there is something you like it is probably sensible to get it now rather than try in a few days time. It is a week until Halloween, not very long at all.
Can`t believe how fast this month is going, I`m sure it`s not because I`m getting older. I put it down to the fast pace of life, that`s my excuse and I`m sticking with it.
Yesterday I was busy, for a change. I did housework in the morning, a necessary evil, unfortunately. Then I went out for lunch, a lovely carvery at the local pub. We went with my brother and his wife and had a very enjoyable time. We came back to mine for coffee and chat feeling really stuffed. We all agreed that we shouldn`t have had the dessert too but it was yummy and well worth it. After they left, the oldest two grandchildren came to visit, one to be my ironing fairy. Yay!! Then once they had gone I got on with some computer work, after which it was crochet time. Not an exciting day, but most enjoyable, well... apart from the housework bit anyway.
Have got some new ideas for hats that I shall be implementing soon, when I get a spare minute that is. I still haven`t finished my CRAFTfest stall yet, but I will get round to that soon.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

Halloween is coming so fast,
before you know it, it`ll be past.
Where is the time going, I ask?
Always so busy with many a task.
That`s the trouble with life today,
so fast paced in every way.
We`ll slow down for Halloween
when spooky things will be seen.
What will be out and about on your street,
will there be witches and ghosts to meet?
All the kids dressed up to go
trick or treating, getting in the flow.
Excitement will be running high,
some costumes so cute they make you sigh.
Sweets and lollies, maybe some cash
they`ll all be adding to their stash.
They`ll be lots of parties around,
where wizards and zombies will abound.
Will you be abroad on this spooky night
gazing at each and every scary sight?
Or will you be tucked up safe and sound
hoping that you won`t be found?
Whatever you do, just have fun
because Halloween will soon be done!
