Christmas Decorations #FolksyFriday

I was going to do this theme yesterday then I realised that it made more sense to keep it for today. I am going to do Christmas decorations because I keep seeiong so many gorgeous ones about everywhere. Nowadays they come in every medium from knitting, sewing, glass, wood, crochet, ceramics and much more. Don`t know about you, but I have got some for the grandchildren once or twice, as they have their own trees in their rooms. I think I might get them a personalised one each as I have seen some fantastic ones. But then there are so many gorgeous ones I could change my mind.
Doing this blog could decide it for me or it could make me more indecisive. `I used to be indecisive but now I`m not so sure`. I usually get at least one new decoration for my tree each year, so I shall be looking out for that too. I do love Christmas.
Well, I went and saw the taxman yesterday and he did it all for me. Such a lovely chap and very helpful. He made it all so easy and I was worrying about it all for nothing. That`s it all done for another year. YAY!!!!
You probably won`t believe this... but..... I bought some more yarn. Kind of a celebration thing... maybe... Actually I`m beginning to think that I have an addiction. Maybe there is a Yarn Anonymous group somewhere. The house is bursting at the seams but I still keep buying more, I can`t resist it.
Finished some mittens and another pair are half done. I started a new hat while waiting for my appointment at the tax office, I was early as usual. Well rather that than late and while waiting did the top of a hat. I find crocheting very calming and soothing mainly. Making something completely new is exciting though and my brain tends to work overtime as it constantly works out the best way of doing it.
The trouble with buying new yarn is that I want to use it straight away and ideas start bubbling at the sight of it. I will resist... or at least try.
I`ll stop waffling now.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

Christmas decorations are just so pretty
so I`ll include them in this ditty.
Lot`s of things to pretty up your home,
some small to take wherever you roam.
A star to put upon your wall,
up to you, it`s your call.
Festive goodies for your table
no it`s not just a fable.
Christmas is real and almost here
many don`t realise it`s close, I fear.
Summer came back and lasted so long
now we`re all behind and that`s wrong.
Gorgeous decorations for your tree
plenty there for you and me.
Rudolph, a snowman and Santa
words to spark witty banter.
An angel, a box of goodies and a fairy
this blog isn`t for the Christmas wary.
Beautiful wreaths and a wooden tree,
Christmas is fun. Don`t you see?
A Christmas tree tea cosy,
to make your teapot look posy.
A special bauble for your little one
I promise now, we`re nearly done.
A fabulous retro festive stocking,
no honest, we`re not mocking
those bah humbugs who hide away
who don`t want to play on Christmas day.
Special bunting, a mince pie plate,
having fun will be our FATE!!!!
YAY!!
