Spooky! #Handmade #Folksy

Was weary last night after a hectic day at work and totally lacking inspiration. So I trotted off to Folksy still without a clue what to have on here when inspiration struck in the form of a pumpkin, followed by a witch and a black cat. So I thought why not. I did wonder if there would be much Halloween stuff about as yet, but then noticed a seller saying they had sold out of pumpkin decorations and had to make more. That did it... Halloween went into the search and...... there were loads. Relief!!
Yes I know it`s early as yet and halloween isn`t until the end of October but lots of folks like to be organised and get in first for a greater selection. Clever them, I say.
As I said work was busy yesterday, I did some crochet before work and in the evening. All the pink gloves were finished the day before, just got a pair of mitts in Navy and Blue to finish. I shall probably make some more in different colours too.
I`ve been making something else that is a gift and also getting on with the poncho once more.
Today I am once more going to attempt to get my hair cut. If they are too busy and the wait is more than 10 minutes then I shall lop it off myself. I am not going to look at any yarn, mainly because my hubby will be at home and see me return with it, I can imagine the look and comments I will get. There is also the fact that I am running out of space to keep it all.
Right, enough waffle, time to find some goodies to put on here for your delectation.

Be careful going out on Halloween,
there`ll be strange things to be seen.
Zombies stomping through the night
dripping blood, what a sight!
Ghosts all pale with black eyes
all loud wailing and sighs.
Pumpkins with a life of their own,
oh my oh my, haven`t they grown.
Stalking through the night, black cats
with their witches in pointy hats.
Skeletons with glowing bones,
don`t they look odd, holding phones.
Strange coloured skin, green and white
all glowing eerily in the light.
Little ones doing trick or treat,
looking so cute, can`t be beat.
We put a pumpkin in the window,
so they come knocking cos` they know,
we are taking part in it again this year,
plenty of treats, not tricks, no fear.
The grandchildren come to call
and that`s why we do it all!
