Love Pink #FolksyFriday

My Folksy friday has a pink theme. After all the hullabaloo going on this week I wanted something cheerful, pretty and calming. Is pink calming? Yes I think so. There are so many gorgeous creations in pink available on Folksy that it will be a job too choose what to put on here. But I shall be brave and fearless and go look.
I hope you like what I`ve found for you today. If you get the chance do have a browse through the different shops to see waht other treasures you can find.
Things seem to have calmed down a little now on the forums I`m glad to say. There are still quite a lot of people who haven`t had definitive replies to what they can and can`t sell which isn`t very nice. You would have thought that clearly set out guidelines would have been the best way to go.
I had to buy more purple shimmery yarn yesterday... shock, horror.... they didn`t have any!! I thought that was it, the poncho would be put on hold until they got more in. But no, I discovered half a ball in the bottom of a bag and used that. For the rest of it I will just have to do without purple. It is coming along nicely again. I now have several projects on the go again.... Oh dear. I just keep getting new ideas and have to start then before I forget, once started they are indelibly lodged in my brain.
I need more hours in a day. So much to do and so little time.
I wanted to update the websites yesterday but ran out of time. The grandchildren came for tea so I spent time in the morning making a lasagne. I like to have something prepared ahead so that I can spend the time with them instead of in the kitchen. We had a lovely time together lots of fun and laughter.

A storm is not just for the weather
it comes when we`re at the end of our tether.
We can endure so very much
then get set off by a touch.
It builds and builds, gets tamped down,
such a weight that makes us frown.
Then all it takes is a tiny spark
from one who thinks it a lark.
The straw that breaks the camels back
that means we can no longer hack,
whatever it is that`s going on,
now it overflows till it`s done.
The storm breaks in magnificent style
but then it`s been building for a while.
For a time it crashes and bangs
occasionally showing it`s fangs.
Some are long, others are brief
creeping upon us like a thief.
Then it blows itself out on a sigh
and we gratefully say bye, bye.
Glad to enjoy the peaceful calm
that is like a wonderful balm.
It often leaves debris in it`s wake
sometimes the feelings are hard to shake.
But folk pick themselves up and carry on
often better than before, once the storm is done!
