Chocolate #Handmade #Folksy

Well that`s it,my holiday is over. We went to visit our daughter in Switzerland and had a wonderful time. It was great to see them both and see their beautiful apartment and spend time together. They are living in Zurich so we had a great time there, exploring and riding on the trams. Such a lovely place and everywhere so clean and the lake.... Well... just stunning with the mountain backdrop.
We also visited Lucerne and Berne, both so gorgeous and the views everywhere were amazing. The weather was sunny and warm apart from the first day when it was cloudy and there was a little rain. Great to be able to walk everywhere in the sunshine. The views had me itching to get out a paintbrush and have a go, although there is no way I could do justice to such stunning panoramas.
Everywhere we travelled on the trains, as well as the journey there and home, I took my crochet and managed to make several new things too. That`s what I call a holiday! Great company, new places, stunning scenery, brilliant weather and crocheting too.
I did bring lot`s of chocolate home for the family, especially the grandchildren. My hubby had a very large bar of dark chocolate and I chose a bar of white chocolate with raspeberries in it. Then we also brought very large bars of milk choc and a big bag of mini bars of Lindt, not to mention biscuits etc..... can`t think about it any more, or write about it as I am off to eat some... Yum!!
Today`s blog just had to be chocolate. If you are feeling hungry don`t go any further. The more things I added the hungrier I got and all i could think of was a bar of Swiss chocolate sitting in the fridge calling me.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

We went on a little jaunt,
to Switzerland and now I flaunt,
Swiss chocolate by the ton,
now that my holiday is done.
The family welcomed me with open arms
I don`t think it was for my charms.
I think they liked the chocolate more
but that`s fine, it`s who it was for.
Although, I whisper, I have some as well,
white choc and raspberry, to make my tummy swell.
Do I care? No not at at all,
eating it will be my call.
Looks so tasty, what a treat
good chocolate, just can`t be beat.
Haven`t tasted it just yet,
not a crumb will anyone else get.
They all have theirs, this is for me,
well.. might share a little, I`ll see.

  1. The white chocolate with raspberries sounds good!
I'd love to visit Switzerland (of course for the scenery not the chocolate!)

Thanks for including my eclair among all these lovely treats :-)
