Star Quality #Handmade #Folksy

Thought about showing the A-listers today but there hadn`t been very many added when I looked so I decided to have a little treat and see what I could find on my wanderings. It`s amazing the amount of wonderful shops I find, that I`ve never seen before, when I go wandering.
I will show the A-listers tomorrow instead as I expect there will be more listings on there. Will look later in the day too. There are so many folks on holiday at the minute.
I also had an idea for another day too while I was looking. There were so many cute cuddlies that I think I might do a blog just on those. Maybe I could include the whimsical too. Hmm... Will have to think about that.
Yesterday... wait for it.... drum roll please.... I did some housework. No that wasn`t funny really. I do housework occasionally, a few times a week, but would rather spend the time making stuff.
I made a mitten in a gorgeous blue fluffy yarn and the second one is half made. I really like them and am pleased with the way they look, I might just keep them for myself as they are so soft and warm. They will be great for the winter. I also finished another christmas hat and they are all looking good too. The sparkly red yarn makes them look extra festive and the fluffy white yarn finishes them off. I made the bobble by crocheting it so pieces don`t fall off or out like they can do when bobbles are made in the usual way. Have to say they look pretty good.
Anyway, enough waffle. I could go on and on forever about things I`m making and ideas that I`ve got and often do. But I`ll stop now.

Is that Monday morning feeling with you?
I`m quite happy, not feeling blue.
I`m happy here crafting away,
would rather do this every day.
I let my imagination run free,
then I have a crafting spree.
Things for the winter season
is, I find, a very good reason
to keep making lot`s that`s new
especially for you to view.
The ideas just keep on going
yarns and colours have them flowing.
Now I`ll be making lot`s of mittens
cos they are as soft as kittens.
Soft and fluffy, thick and warm,
they`ll be enough to make you swarm.
Perhaps I`ll do scarves to match,
then they`ll be quite a catch.
Just need more hours in the day
to keep at my creative play.
