Passion for Purple #Handmade #Folksy

I have been using purple quite a bit lately which started me wondering how long it`s been since I did a purple blog. I went back a couple of pages of listings which took me back into July and it wasn`t there so I figured it had been a while. So highly delighted I have decided to do a purple colour theme today. If I remember rightly last time I only had a childs bag in purple and that was it, so it`s obviously a popular colour with other people too.
I know my younger daughter loves purple and often has something purple on her. When she gets married early next year he bridesmaids will be in..... yep, you guessed it... purple. I am thinking of wearing a variation of purple too. Maybe a pattern with various shades.... No idea yet what I`ll be wearing besides the basic colours.
Yesterday was mainly a crafting day. I had intended to sort out all my stock and organise it better but that didn`t happen. My elder daughter and family were heading off for a camping holiday this week, so the older two popped in to say bye, while walking the dog. Then they all stopped by before heading off on their way.
I had intended to be productive but got distracted by the poncho I`ve started making and did some more of that. Then I changed to knitting for a while and got two pairs of mittens made, although from time to time I stopped to crochet some more. By the time the second pair of mittens were done it was nearly tea time and hubby was packing up to come indoors.
So although I didn`t do what I intended, I did get quite a bit done.
Enough waffle, time to go look for purple.

Purple is quite a passion of mine,
I happen to think it`s very fine.
For lot`s of folks it`s a passion
that never seems to go out of fashion.
A rich dark purple looks so regal
do you think that can be legal?
What about a pretty lilac
that should keep you on track.
Purple power from head to toe,
now that would make quite a show.
You could have just a touch
like hair accessories and such.
A scarf, a perfect frame,
life wouldn`t be the same
without colour to make it bright,
we all appreciate the sight.
Treat yourself, best be quick
and no we don`t do tick.
All of these are unique,
yes I thought that would pique
your attention, make you think twice
because all these are more than nice.

the gift you wanted, you choose!
