Babies #Handmade #Folksy

Today is all about babies. There is so much more available now than when I had mine. It`s great to see the great diversity of goods available. Everything you need and things you didn`t even know you might need or want. Babies can be very expensive so it makes sense to shop around and buy the best you can at the best prices you can find. Shops on Folksy are filled with quality goods at very reasonable prices and the quality is as good or better than you`ll find anywhere else.
My eldest daughter`s close friend is expecting twins. A lot of hard work but double the joy too. So babies are on my mind quite a bit at the minute, hence this blog. She has discovered that she is having two girls which we all think is wonderful, especially my grandaughter as she is surrounded by boys. Two other close friends, in the group, both have boys and of course my daughter has three as well as a daughter who is the eldest.
Yesterday I was at work so not so much to report on the creative front. I do of course take my crocheting with me to do in my lunch hour and after a few hours of computer work did some more in the evening. While at work I finished the second pink fluffy mitten so I showed it off. I was very pleased that they loved it so much and said how soft and warm it was. I`m not sure I could go a whole day without doing just a little, I find it very therapeutic.

The love begins when you first know
that a baby is starting to grow.
With growing excitement you cradle the bump,
in spite of feeling like a great lump.
This baby is a special part,
already growing in your heart.
A very special part of you,
you can`t wait until it`s due.
When the baby arrives your heart does swell
encompassing the entire world as well.
Ten tiny fingers and ten tiny toes
checking and counting as the love grows.
As they grow bigger their world does too
including so much more than you.
Independant and fast growing away
you still love them more than words can say.
Then they leave home and later return with a gift
one that makes your heart jump with a great lift.
This love is amazing, so tender and pure
and you are completely and absolutely sure
that no other baby could be so great,
as this perfect grandchild, that`s been worth the wait.
Life continues to circle round and round
it all gives life meaning, I have found!
