Pretty in Pink #Handmade #Folksy.

Sunday already and the last day of July. Can you believe how fast this year is going? I can`t, it`s absolutely whizzing past. I would think that it`s me getting old if it wasn`t for the fact that the children say the same thing.
Today I am featuring pink creations from some of the wonderful crafters on Folksy. There were so many that it was a tough job deciding what to put on here. I hope you like the choices I`ve made. If you want to see more pink, then go to Folksy and put pink into the search box, there are thousands. It is obviously a popular colour, how popular I didn`t realise until I started to look.
Well the Pinata is untouched yet again as I was at work yesterday although I did regale them with my efforts. Today I should get the chance to do a bit more and hopefully I won`t be sticking my fingers together (almost) or getting covered in it. Fingers crossed eh?
I did finish the snood I was making and I thought it looked very pretty, I might try it in some other yarns too. I did get a couple more last week when I popped into the city. I know shock, horror that I would actually buy still more yarn. I think I have probably got enough to last for years already. Trouble is I just can`t resist it. I see something different and my imagination goes into overdrive. I am going to have to control this impulsive urge to buy more until I have managed to use up some of my stocks, I`m running out of places to keep it, or should that be, hide it.
Okay enough waffle for now.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

Pink they say, makes the boys wink
do we think there is a link?
Some love pink, especially fluffy
others prefer it to be scruffy.
Pink`s not a colour for everyone
but I think it is good fun.
From the palest to the dark
pink lovers will have a lark.
Pink is soft, gentle and warm
and supposed to make the boys swarm.
Not sure about that at all,
but I know it holds many in thrall.
It makes so many feel good
and I really think it should.
It`s supposed to be the colour of love
bringing all good things from above.
Lots of pink on here today
please do come and have your say.
Do you like pink and frilly
or does it make you feel silly?
For a girl it used to be just the thing
to bring a smile and make her heart sing.
But now the boys can wear it as well
along with face cream and hair gel.
Times have changed so very much
I think I am getting out of touch.
Vivid pink that`s `in your face`
can set quite a fast pace.
Whatever sort is the one for you
please do come to Folksy for a view!
