#JulyJewels Showcase.

Today I am showing a gallery of goodies from the July Jewels, the new daily listing club for July on Folksy. For those that don`t know a group of crafters attempt a perasonal challenge of listing a new item each day during the month of July. They all support each other and view each others creations. They are all also a cheering squad when things go well and a shoulder when they don`t.

I am not taking part so far this month but will get my fix by looking at the thread and showing their new creations on here. Let`s face it the creations just get better and better. So if you want a stunning and unique bargain, grab it while you can, because for most of these creations, once it`s gone, it`s gone! Don`t pass up the chance to get the perfect gift or somethimg you love by thinking I`ll come back later, because it could very well be gone by then. Chances are, that if you love it, so will many others. Also other sellers get to see them and often snap up things that they need for themselves or as great gifts. So get in quick while you can. Why not take a little wander through the shops and see what other delectable delights they have to offer too.

At work yesterday and it was very busy. On the bright side the day just whizzed past in the blink of an eye. Did some crocheting at lunchtime and during the evening. Not much, but every little helps.
Friday I took my 2 yr old grandson out to the city. At that age they are so interested in everything and stopping to examine everything they see. It makes you really look at things and see everything with new eyes. Great fun. Was also very brave and got him a cornet and discovered that it wasn`t that brave as he barely wasted a drop. when it was gone there was none on his hands, just a little on his face around his mouth, bless him. No cleaning up to do there. Such a great little cherub.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.

A new club era has begun
the July Jewels will have fun.
Madly crafting to list each day
hoping that someone will say,
I want that, it`s the one for me
then it`s posted off with glee.
Their artistic spirit really craves
creativity and they become slaves
to the very craft they love
it all goes hand in glove.
Creating makes our spirit soar,
selling them all, even more.
Nothing more uplifting than someone who
wants to buy and loves what you do.
Crafting is great but we`d soon be overrun
if we didn`t sell the source of our fun.
Many of us are trying to make it pay
so we continue to create every day.
It`s a business like any other one
it`s just that our day is never done.
Eighteen hours or more a day
I tell you, it`s not all play.
We work so hard cos` we love what we do
making fabulous creations, just for you!!
