Blue Serenity #Handmade #Folksy

Monday once more and the start of the week. If you get the Monday blues maybe the wonderful shades of blue on here will help to restore your equanamity. There are so many stunning creations in blue on Folksy that I had a hard job choosing what to put on here, which is pretty much as usual.
Today I will be returning from my weekend away which will please my hubby as he doesn`t like cooking for himself. Well. I say cook... What I really mean is he puts ready meals in the oven according to the instructions. Bless him.
I shall hopefully have lots of wonderful new creations finished and ready to photograph. And hopefully I won`t have gained any more yarn. I don`t hold out much hope on that front though.
I wonder if it`s possible to join a `yarn anonymous` for those of us addicted to continually buying more. Although in fairness, new yarn does give me new ideas too. As soon as I hold it then ideas start to flow. Or sometimes once it`s bought and put away, I can`t help but think about what to do with it. Then new ideas start coming until I have to get it out and make a start. What I really need in my life is someone to come along behind me and finish off each creation when I discard it to start the next. Lately though I have been finishing several things. Thats because I`m quite excited by the way they have turned out. I`ve been mixing yarns and colours and experimenting, it`s great.
Okay, enough waffling.

ENJOY!!

Blue is so very serene
the calmest colour I have seen.
Soft, gentle and very kind
so very soothing, I find.
A blue sky makes us all smile,
and want to lay back and gaze a while.
The blue of the ocean really draws me
I love it in every mood you see.
Some blues are vibrant and bright
such an electric uplifting sight.
From Navy to the palest of pale
we have it all on here for sale.
Blue is for boys, so they say
but give it to me any day.
I do wear blue quite a lot
even if it`s only a dot.
Do colours you wear reflect your mood,
or do they affect it and make you brood?
Do you wear colours to make you feel good?
Because you know, you really should.
They can make you feel brighter
or even very much slighter.
Lift your mood and make you happy,
or tone it down so you feel sappy.
Whatever the colours you most often choose,
please click on these to improve our views.

  4. Love the quilt by poppykins. I find blue a cool colour, so confess to not wearing that much, currently attired in purple paisley top and pink jeans (second outfit of day as first one got soaked in today's rain)
