#Orange #FolksyFriday

A thread on folksy stated that orange is this seasons colour. I don`t know whether it is or not but orange is such a lovely cheerful colour. Like yellow it makes me think of summer, although autumn colours often include orange. Hmmm... So which is it then, summer or autumn? Not really sure. Actually it`s good for both because it depends upon the colours you put with it.
Had another busy day yesterday. I made a lasagne to feed the grandchildren. I like to make it in advance so that I have the time to spend with them. Also the youngest is only 2 yrs old and does need to be kept track of. After making that in the late morning I did some finishing. A blue, multi toned, beaded summer scarf is now ready to be photographed and two headbands/earwarmers as well to go on the website. This years headbands/earwarmers, in the feathery polyester, also have crocheted patterns on them. Makes them look nice and lifts them out of the ordinary. I spent far too long on the computer this morning so I didn`t get as much done as I had hoped. Never mind today is another day and I will see what I get done today. Although I am skiving off this afternoon and taking the middle two grandchildren to the cinema where I will eat far too much popcorn and have too much fizzy drink. Don`t touch either normally but it feels obligatory at the cinema. Oooops, waffling again.

ENJOY!!!!

Today everything`s fine, I got my mojo back
so now it`s okay because I`m back on track.
Not quite sure what a mojo is
I`m hoping it`s a bit of zizz
to make the brain cells zing
and the rhyming words bring.
It was probably the shopping
that had my brain hopping
all those people in the way
why did they go out that day?
Won`t think about that any more
else the brain cells will hit the floor.
I`ll think instead of orange zest
we all know that will be best.
Orange is so bright and cheery
bound to revive when you are weary.
Supposed to help the creative urge,
the very sight should give a surge,
of ideas flooding in to your brain
we love feeling that again and again.
Quite a popular colour we find,
if folks buy it we don`t mind.
Because we`ll just make lots more,
so that they can fly out of the door.
