June Bugs #Handmade #Folksy.

Had a look through and realised it was a week since we had the June Bugs on show. For those that don`t know it is the daily listing club on Folksy of which I am a part. It has been running for over a year, although I only joined in September with UniquelyYours. It`s hard work to keep up with it all but fun too and it does keep you motivated. We couldn`t do it though without Natalie of NOFKants Curios to keep us all going. She keeps the tally, commiserates with us, cheers us on and happy dances when we have sales. It all just makes for a nice community spirit.
Was quite busy yesterday. Some friends popped round in the morning and it was lovely to see them and catch up, we had a lovely chat. I did housework, which wasn`t good. The politician that outlaws housework will have my vote for sure.
Then my ironing fairy popped in to wade through the rather large ironing pile which was great. That`s my 14 yr old grandaughter earning some extra pocket money. She`s a lovely girl and such good company, we have great chats and lot`s of laughs.
I got some knitting and crochet done. The knitting was for another winter item I got an idea for, the crochet was for now. Hubby arrived home from work and it was a quick trip to the supermarket, then a bit later my daughter popped in with her hubby and all four children, which was lovely. All in all it was a good day yesterday in spite of the rain that started later in the afternoon.
As usual, to see a description or bigger picture, just click on the item thats takes your fancy to view it in the shop.
ENJOY!!!

First there was blue sky and sun,
then all of a sudden it was done.
The wind got up, the clouds came in,
with the weather you just can`t win.
First came a little gentle rain,
and before you know it hard again.
Dull and grey, wet and blowy
still it`s better than being snowy.
We do need rain quite a bit
and its not too bad when you sit
in the dry, watching it come down,
too long though and I will frown.
Why can`t it just rain at night
perhaps someone very bright
could arrange this for me.
I would be happier then you see.
The summer should be here by now,
please summer it`s time to take a bow.
Long summer days of unbroken sunshine
beautiful blue skies, that would be fine.
But no , the wind it blows and howls
and we come in looking for towels.
Now what sort of summer do you call that
feet trying to avoid puddles, yet going splat.
That`s a normal summer here in Britain
yet still with our country we are smitten.
Without the weather what would we say
probably not much more than Good Day!!
