#Insects #Handmade #Folksy

I saw on a thread on the Folksy forum about Bugs. Now as I am in the June Bugs listing club I thought `How appropriate`, must be a sign. Well probably wasn`t but I decided to go with it anyway as so many of the things on there were so pretty. See now you don`t think insects, bugs, can be pretty, do you? Well they can. I almost added a `so there` at that point but didn`t because I thought it would be childish and I`m a grown up, sort of. I know some would argue about that one, me being grown up, that is. I`m waffling aren`t I? Yep. Oh dear.
Concentrate. Okay, went to the cinema yesterday afternoon and saw `Kung Fu Panda`. Not my choice but I really enjoyed it, it was very funny, I even laughed out loud. Ate far too much popcorn as usual. Don`t know what it is about the cinema popcorn, but I love it. The children enjoyed their drinks, popcorn and sweets too and they loved the film, which of course is most important as it was for them.
Did a little bit more finishing and some more crocheting. Started a new lacy scarf, unbeaded this time, before I finished the last one. That one is cream cotton with amber beads, looking very pretty but quite hard going. Still I will finish it, just want to do this pink one as I have a new idea for holding it together, that will look very pretty.
Nothing of mine on here today as I don`t have any insects. You will probably have noticed that if I don`t have anything to go with the theme then I don`t include anything. Doesn`t mean you can`t pop over to my shop to see what I have listed today.
As usual, to see a bigger picture or a description, just click on the item to view it in the shop.

I saw a sunset the other night
it was such a beautiful sight
that this poem went round in my head
even after I`d gone to bed.

The other night the world had a rosy glow,
as the sun was setting pink and low.
The few clouds were just pink streaks
I haven`t seen that sight for weeks.
Nature is such a wonderful thing
it can really make my heart sing.
Thw beauty of the colours at sunset,
although endless cloud can make me fret.
The colours of an amazing sunrise,
when I should be abed, others advise.
Mother Nature provides a stunning array
of amazing beauty, each and every day.
It`s there for us if we take the time to see
where else can you be in the gallery for free?
A storm that booms and lights up the sky,
the crashes and lightning as it passes by.
Take a little time to see it at it`s best,
it doesn`t do any harm to take a little rest.
The world now it moves so fast
precious moments are soon past.
So just stand for a moment to see,
what is right in front of you and me!!
