New Treasures. #Handmade #Folksy.

Did you all have a great Bank Holiday weekend. It was nice to have two Bank Holidays either side of a weekend. Did you go out and about or just relax at home. I got to do a bit of everything, it was most enjoyable. Lot`s of excitement and events happening here. I have also been busy making new things to list in my shop. I now have a shop on Etsy and WoW Thank You site`s too. Different items in each shop of course. I think that will keep me busy and out of mischief for the forseeable future. Not to mention of course doing this blog daily too.
I decided to show new shops today. Some are brand new and some are new to me. I decided to do this after seeing the embroidered cushion on the forums that was in a new shop. It can be quite hard to get noticed when you are new and just finding your way. Much easier once you get into the swing of things and start promoting and showing your listings on the forums. Hope you like the treasures I found for you today.

Why do crafters want to create
maybe it`s in their genes or fate.
It`s something inside that pushes us on
keeps us going till the job is done.
When one is finished the next is begun
mainly because we find it fun.
I start new things before the last is finished
it`s not because the excitement`s diminished.
I get a new idea and have to start
I feel I`m creating a work of art.
Each piece is unique, made for you
I just love it when you come to view.
So please just take a little while
to browse through shops, it will them smile.
It`s so nice to know folks like to look
through the pages just like a book.
When you click on even just one thing
it will make our hearts sing.
A view counter is there for us to see
whether our shops have been very busy.
So go on and make our day
come and have a little play!!

It was so very windy outside yesterday
I didn`t want to go outside and play.
Trees are bending, the wind is so strong
all it does is really make me long
for the warm days of summer to come.
I`m sure there will at least be some.
A gentle breeze is better than gale
I`m tired of seeing things sale
past the window in a hurry
it`s definitely more than a flurry.
At least we have the sunshine too
and the sky is mainly blue.
The clouds they just don`t stay long
not with this wind so strong!
