#Art Showcase. #Handmade #Folksy

A Sunday Showcase of Art today I think. We haven`t had art for quite a while, so I think it`s about time we did. I spotted some beautiful ACEO`s on Folksy, some were painted and another was embroidered. That was what started me off thinking about art to put on here again. I think most people enjoy a beautiful picture, whether it`s a large painting or print or a small ACEO. A lot of people collect ACEO`s now because it`s an affordable way of owning your own piece of original art.
Of course you could ask a hundred people what constitutes art and they could all have a different answer, because it`s all about perception. What I consider to be a wonderful picture another might dismiss with barely a glance. Which is why it`s a good job that artists all have their own idea of what art is.
I haven`t managed to paint for a couple of weeks now, I`ve been so busy with so many other things. but it is something I really enjoy and will do more before long. If you want to help me out by buying a few, that`s fine, it would encourage me to paint more.
As usual, to see a description or bigger picture, just click on the item to view it in the shop.

Art for one and art for all
what sort holds you in thrall?
Acrylic, watercolour or oil
in what medium would you toil?
Or maybe drawing is your thing
a pen makes ideas take wing.
Mixed media is lovely too
maybe that the one for you.
Whatever makes your ideas take flight,
they are all a wonderful sight.
Now buyers all like a different type
regardless of the media hype.
They each know what they like
whatever calls to their psych.
I just love to paint and draw
to me it`s what art is for.
But I admire all other types of art
and sometimes wonder how they part
with such incredible pictures
but I know they can`t stay fixtures.
Else they would be buried under them all
and would no longer hear the artistic call.
Maybe like me, once it`s done
that particular battle is won.
We like to see them fly on their way
to leave more to paint another day.
So come and browse, view and sigh
then with a few clicks you can buy!
We`ll send them gladly out the door,
so we have room to paint more!
