Sunday Showcase. #Handmade #Folksy

Once more it`s the lovely sellers that favorite my shop who are on display here today. Their fabulous creations are here to tempt you from the straight and narrow. You could always do what I do and tell yourself that they are for presents, somehow that makes it seem better, the fact that they rarely leave the house as gifts is neither here nor there, it`s the thought that counts. Well that`s my reasoning anyway. Actually I think it`s a pretty good way of guilt free buying.
I am doing this blog a head of time as I am busy with family celebrations. A 30th and 60th Birthdays and an engagement, my daughter. She got engaged on her 30th birthday and we are thrilled. So we have are a big family get together over the weekend to celebrate all three.
I am hoping this will work okay, I will check it goes live. Please forgive any glaring mistakes as I am rushing to get this done on Friday afternoon before the first visitors arrive.

I`m doing this in a rush and hurry
goodness me it`s all been a flurry.
Writing the cards and wrapping each gift
to see the pile grow gives me a lift.
I`m looking forward to a relaxing time
I`m even rushing to write this rhyme.
Dinner out and a big party
nothing too arty farty.
Just lots of fun and laughter too
probably be a bit like a zoo.
Housework and changing each bed
then it`s off out to be fed.
It`s a beautiful day, sunny and bright,
I hope you feel sorry for my plight.
I`m stuck here inside writing away
when I should be outside in the sunny day.
Nearly time for the first to arrive
to get this done I really do strive.
I hope your weekend is as exciting as mine
and I hope the weather stays this fine.
