#Crafts and Poets. #Handmade #Folksy

This is a continuation of the rhymes from yesterday. There are still more and they will appear on here tomorrow. As the poets have made this contribution, I am showing items from their shops today and items from thje shops of yesterdays poets. It`s really quite amusing to see the new verses that appeared after I took the verses for yesterdays blog. So then I added verse about people continuing to add their verses just to continue the fun. If you want to see yesterdays rhymes just scroll down and click on the #April Showers #Handmade #Folksy at the top of the Blog Archive list. Definitely worth a look if you haven`t seen them, they were funny.
Did some baking yesterday with my 4yr old grandson who is still very spotty, although they are improving a lot. He came to visit with me for a little while and he decided he would like to make cakes because he liked rolling them out. I had to point out that he was talking about pastry, but he wanted to crack eggs, so we settled on small cakes. Have to say he did a very good job, not a fleck of shell in there and only a small dollop of mix on the floor. Good job his Mum didn`t see him by the time he`d finished scraping out the bowl. A quick wash down of hands, arms and face soon did the trick.
As usual, to see a description or a larger picture, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
Have Fun and Enjoy. The disclaimer from yesterday still stands.

All your rhymes are very funny
I think they should make lots of money.
I shan’t however show my bum
Without a tot or two of rum.
In any case it would scare the fairy away………….

From Artmagic
Lots of odes since I last viewed
It should take shape when it is glued.
So Sales Fairy, listen to us shout
Wake up and get your finger out.
We’re waiting here with tapping feet,
And folded arms and smiles so neat.
Surround us with your magic dust
and cheer us up – you really must!

From Made by Dolly.
How nice to read it’s not just me
waiting for that elusive She.
I should not induge in Schadenfreude
but that fairy will not loiter,
sprinkling magic fairy dust,
she cares not how we earn our crust

From The Crafty Bride.
I don’t celebrate Easter so have not been spoiled
with chocolate, but oh how hard I have toiled
I hope my customer will be filled with glee
You see I’m making more cosies for Cosy Tea
Achernar, Horseshoe and Honeycomb cable
I don’t have much time so will see if I’m able
To finish them now the kids will be out of my hair
In time for the show at the London Trade Fair
I still need the sales fairy to not be so mean
As I really am down to my last pair of jeans
And I am walking around in my winter boots
In this lovely hot weather they are starting to hoot
So please sales fairy come pay me a visit
I need it for living, not for hanks of Quivit

From me
The sales fairy has sadly gone,
don`t know what I`ve done
I`m working my fingers to the bone
my skills I`m really starting to hone.
Bit it`s all to no avail
if kindness won`t prevail.
My house is really filling up
soon I shan`t be able to find a cup.
The creations are overflowing
even though my reviews are glowing.
Can you not all see
you should come and visit me!

From me.
Please add a little ditty,
if you`re feeling witty.
I`ll show something from your shop
hoping the viewers take the hop
over to have browse through
your shops and buy from you

From Aunty Joan Crafts.
She’s stayed away for days on end
It’s driving me up the wall & round the bend
How could she do this to her friends
She’s gonna have to make amends.

I saw her a lot in early April
Bet I don’t see her again until,
The beginning of May or June
Oh summer can’t come too soon!
