#Craft Spectacular #Handmade #Folksy.

Happy Easter Sunday everyone. Hope you all have a lovely relaxing day, well if you aren`t at work that is. For those working, my commiserations.
What do you do on Easter Sunday? My day will be as usual as my hubby is on nights at the minute. The grandchildren though will be having an Easter Egg hunt. Do you do that? We used to pile them all up for when they came down in the morning. Although as the years went by we started letting them have them on Good Friday otherwise with so many eggs they would have still been eating them in the summer. Come to think of it though, there were times they lasted that long. We had a big family so a dozen or more was the norm, but I didn`t like them having a lot of sweets and chocolate, hence them lasting so long.
Is your good weather still holding? It`s been beautiful here in Norfolk, our little weather station was reading 27 degrees at midday. I visited my brother for a while, he only lives round the corner from me, then came back to crochet outside. I put up the parasol and sat comfortably enjoying the glorious sunshine. My 12 yr old grandson arrived and he sat with me sorting all my receipts ready to do my tax for last year. They are now ready in years, his next job is to sort them into months and then date order. A tedious task, but one he seemed happy to take on. Bless him!
Not sure what we are having on here today. I thought about new shops as we haven`t had them for a while and it`s nice for them to have a wider audience. Then I thought of flowers, maybe weddings... don`t know. I`m off for a wander to see what I find. Maybe I`ll just include random things as I come across them.
As usual, to see a descrition or larger picture, just click on the item to view it in the shop.
Have fun and ENJOY!!!

I thought, I hoped, the summer had come
but April showers have us under the thumb.
The cold is returning but don`t you fret,
enjoy the now, it`s not here yet.
The warmth and brightness of the summer sun
makes you want to be outside and have fun.
Barbecues, games, sitting and relaxing,
certainly don`t do anything more taxing.
A glass of wine, maybe some squash
or some champers, if you`re feeling posh.
Getting sweaty and hot from games of swingball,
bouncing on the trampoline in mock freefall.
Pushing the little ones on the swing
trying to restrain them when they fling
themselves of in a tearing hurry
wanting to join in the mad flurry.
All sitting when it`s time to eat
and after there is always a treat.
Lollies and icecreams, whatever you like,
always a milk one for the littlest tike.
Lot`s of laughter and so much fun
weary and tired when the day is done.
Now I`m looking forward to summer days
when maybe there will be time to laze.
But I`m still enjoying this weather today
I will live in the now, come what may!!!
