April Show-ers Spectacular #Handmade #Folksy

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all Mothers.
Hope your day is special.

Today we have a spectacular April Show-ers blog. A wonderful showcase featuring items from the new listing club members. As I said yesterday, some are from previous listing clubs, so you will see familiar names and some are new members. It does motivate us all to keep crafting and keep adding to our shops. Seeing so many wonderful items also motivates us all to continue to refine our craftsmanship and come up with new creations and ideas.
Me, I didn`t do much creating yesterday, I was busy rushing around at the day job. I did a little crocheting in my lunch half hour and a little yesterday evening. You see, if you would all just buy more and regularly from my shop I could stay at home crocheting, painting and blogging and reaching ever more dizzy heights in my brimming ideas. What do you think then? Is it a deal? No? Well it was worth a try I suppose.
As ever, to see a larger picture or a description of any item, just click on the relevant picture to go directly to that item in the shop.
Have Fun and Enjoy!

Yesterday evening there was a stunning sky,
I stood and watched the sun say goodbye.
Across the sky all the clouds were red
in a glorious display the sun went to bed.
The clouds turning pink as far as the eye could see
the urge to paint then, was within me.
Nature can produce such a glorious sight
as the day starts to fade into the night.
Glowing reds, offset by some darker greys
nature is so mysterious in her ways.
I love sunsets and sunrises too
they make such a stunning view.
The amazing reds, oranges and yellow
the way they mix to give off the glow.
I could paint them forever and not tire
those warm colours set me on fire.
I almost missed it, so busy on here
not taking enough time, that much is clear.
Not to take my own advice to stop and look
now that is a big sin in my book.
I often say, take time to stop and stare
at nature, but I do declare
it`s obvious I forgot my own advice
I very nearly had to pay the price.
I would have missed that stunning display
and would have missed a perfect end to the day.
