Mad March Hares #Handmade #Folksy.

Today it`s the March Hares listing club once more. So many wonderful crafters turning out so many new delightful creations. So don`t forget to go and browse in the shops, especially if you are looking for something special for a gift. Don`t forget too, that Mother`s Day is fast approaching and what better to buy than something that is unique and not mass produced. Anything you buy from Folksy will be well made and far exceed your expectations. I speak from experience as I have bought some amazing things from Folksy, for myself and as gifts. In fact today I took delivery of some stunning items I bought as gifts and wish I didn`t have to part with. As they are personalised though it would be a bit silly.
As ever, to see a bigger picture or a description just click on the item to view it in the shop, then take a little time to browse the shops wonderful treasures.
Had bit of a frustrating day yesterday waiting for a new bathroom suite that never appeared. Delivery Friday I was told, Fine, I agreed. What time? Can`t give a time, just between 9 and 5.
I got quite annoyed with the store about the non appearance. The upshot of it all was that I should finally get my new bathroom suite today. Fingers crossed!! To be fair, they were very helpful and apologetic and went out of their way to re-arrange it to suit us.

Yesterday I sat and waited all day
a knock, open the door, no way!
A delectable parcel I was waiting for
but it wasn`t the knock I wanted at the door.
Then a call came, `About your delivery tomorrow`
I was feeling rage more than sorrow.
Today I insisted, `I only call` was his reply
I did much more than merely sigh.
I called up the store and they tried to help
The girl put the wrong date, `What!` was my yelp.
Finally they arranged after three in the afternoon
so hubby is home, pray it doesn`t arrive too soon.
My new bathroom suite will be a day late
the day didn`t start well, it was obviously fate.
I so rarely have problems like this in my life
I`ve got out of the habit of dealing with strife.
There is an up side of all of this
I had lots of time for crocheting bliss.
As good as meditation at calming the mind
creating is so soothing I always find.
I finished some lacy gloves in raspberry pink
and a wrap that`s already a winner I think.
The lacy pattern I was all my invention
I like to be different, not stick with convention.
The pattern has been very much admired,
my daughters approbation now has me all fired
up to do more and try different stitches
the job that doesn`t come without hitches.
It`s great though cos I love what I do
inventing new wonderful creations for YOU!

  7. Lovely items from our Folksy sellers and hard to pick a favourite, though I am leaning towards Shoogly Beads lovely flowers in my favourite colour, and the wooden scarf brooch. So sorry to hear about your bathroom suite being delayed, but at least you could get your frustrations out in a poem!
