#Valentinos Treasury. #Handmade #Folksy

A Valentinos day today. If you still haven`t got something for that special someone in your life you had better get looking quick, before its too late and you get stuck with having to buy something mass produced.
Maybe you are looking for a birthday gift? I don`t know about you but I have lots of birthdays in February and 4 of them are in 3 days, 23rd, 24th and 25th of February. Can anyone beat that?
Did painting, crocheting and photographing yesterday, besides all the boring day to day stuff. Oh and was busy admiring my new seraphinite pendant and earrings from JAustenJewelleryDesign, they are absolutely stunning. The pendant called me from the first time I saw it, but I wanted earrings to go with it. I hunted high and low, then ding!!! on went the lightbulb (I can be a bit slow sometimes) and I contacted Jacqueline and asked about earrings. No problem at all. She asked me about preferences, I had none, so she made up a couple of pairs for me to choose from, while assuring me that if they weren`t what I wanted she could soon make up something else. How often do you get that level of service on the high street? So now I have them here in my hot little hands as they say. Well actually, not in my hot little hands because I am wearing them, just couldn`t wait.
So the moral of that story is....... if you see something you like but would like a different colour, or something to match it or something about the style changed, it`s always worth contacting the seller in case they can help.

Busy, so busy all day long
all accompanied by a song.
Painting, the new love of my life,
it certainly reduces stress and strife.
Crocheting, I taught myself to do
found a very old book and that was my cue.
Little did I know when I learnt by myself
after finding that booklet on a shelf
what the future would hold for me
I was only a child you see.
Its been my love for many a long year
over the years I`ve made so much gear.
Funny the way that things work out
makes you wonder what its all about.
There`s no such thing as coincidence they say
just all part of the great cosmic life play.
Life is just full of ups and downs,
with lots of smiles and many frowns.
It`s how we deal with it all that matters
try to stay positive not turn into mad hatters.
Don`t let the devils grind you down,
face life with a smile not a frown.
Do what makes you happy whenever you can
thats a philosphy of which I`m a fan.
Every day is an adventure for me
because I love my life as it is you see!!

  2. Lovely items, and your poem was really inspiring. We should all do the things we love doing, you are quite right. It was also nice to hear a bit more about a fellow seller, JAustenJewellery. I received a gorgeous Coral Fossil Pendant from her before Christmas, for my daughter, who loves it. Many thanks for including my bookmark in your blog.
