#Treasury of ACEO`s #Handmade #Folksy.

The ACEO revolution is growing!! Not just on Folksy but everywhere it seems. Artists are busy painting lots of them and collectors are busy snapping them up. So today I have 24 ACEO`s for you to browse through. If you like what you see, just click on the picture to see a bigger picture, a detailed description or to buy.
For those that are unaware of this growing trend ACEO`s are small collectable pieces of art. They measure 3.5" x 2.5" and can be in any artistic medium as well as paint. ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals. The general idea is to make art accessible and affordable to many more people, which is why they are growing in popularity so much.

Somebody said to me you are living the dream and I am. It was a long hard road to get to this point and a lot of life changing events that led me here. But now I am happy and healthy and doing exactly what I want to do, unleashing my creativity!! If someone had told me five years ago that I would be doing this I would have laughed at them. I barely had time for hobbies, let alone turning them into a job. I do still go out to work part time but I am hoping in the future this will be my full time job. Now that would really be living the dream! I work longer hours doing all this than I would in any paid employment but it doesn`t matter because it`s what I want to do and that makes all the difference. Not to mention the fact that making things doesn`t feel like work. If I get tired of crocheting I do some painting and vice versa, it`s great.

What would you do if you could
instead of what you think you should?
Make a little time each and every day
to live your dream, have fun and play.
Lots of very small changes may seem
an impossible way to reach your dream.
Outward changes often make changes inside
and before you know it, life`s a wonderful ride.
Yesterday I rushed around to get basics done
then I could spend time on painting fun.
Two pictures to finish, not quite happy yet
then I did some more and got hubby to vet.
NO! Vet the pictures, where is your mind
he`s not an animal, don`t be unkind.
Although he won`t say very much
maybe move them around with a gentle touch.
A Hmmm and a nod are all he will do,
then I`ll clear paints away, cos that is my cue.
I`ll know they are done, finished, complete
as he gets a cuppa and goes back to his seat.
Sometimes though we paint side by side
now thats part of life`s wonderful ride.
Both lost in a world thats so far away
till we stretch, backs aching and call it a day!

This is becoming a habit, putting on a bigger selection than I originally intend. I just get carried away when I am browsing. Although you must admit that they all look great together.
