After seeing a delicious looking cupcake I discovered that it was made from soap and that made me decide to have soap as todays theme. Once again, as I started looking, I was amazed by how many wonderful soap shops there were on Folksy. I had seen a few but hadn`t realised how many there were or the wealth of treasures they contained.
In this day and age of constantly being warned against harmful additives it is nice to know that such wonderful handmade alternatives are available. I was also struck by how beautifully made they are and how artistically they are finished.
What a wonderful gift they would make, for Mother`s day or birthdays or any special occasion. Not to mention how wonderful your own bathroom would look and smell with such delightful accessories.

I went off searching for soap,
would I find the old soap on a rope?
Nothing like that to be seen in a Folksy shop,
the stunning array really caught me on the hop.
Who would believe such wonderful creations
were available now for our ablutions.
Cupcakes that look really good to eat
and cake slices that are hard to beat.
Honey and oats and wonderful oil
they make a great way to spoil,
that someone special that you know
a gift like this would make them glow.
What about some to give you a lift
buy yourself a lovely gift.
How about a little duck
maybe it will bring you luck.
A soapsicle or a beautiful rose
might make you want to spout some prose.
There`s foaming butter for your bath,
to lift your spirits and make you laugh.
