#Beautifully Crafted Wood. #Handmade #Folksy

Wood, glorious wood. So many beautiful things made from wood, large and small. There were so many more things I could have included as well as those here. I mainly chose shops that have most of, if not all their items for sale made from wood. That way if you are wanting something that extra bit different for yourself or someone else you can browse through each shop. I was amazed by the variety of things created from wood, I won`t tell you all I saw, that way you can have a voyage of discovery all of your own.
I don`t know about you but I love wood. I don`t mind whether it`s left more rustic or smoothed to a glossy finish, it all looks so beautiful. There are so many different woods to choose from too, with their range of colours.
Well I won`t waffle on for ages like I sometimes do, well only occasionally. Okay quite a lot really.
If you want to see a bigger picture a description or to go to the shop of any item, just click on the picture to go directly there. Have fun!

Do you really love wood, as I do
want to own these pieces made for you.
How to choose and what to own,
there`s so much more than I have shown.
Browse each shop and view with lust
just sit and stare if you must!
A beautiful finish, with a touchable glow,
look how the grain is out on show.
A bowl, a loom, blocks for Mums,
a blackboard for your notes or sums.
How about a corkscrew for your wine,
or a paper knife to cut a fine line.
A bottle stopper for your wine or oil
use that and the contents won`t spoil.
Runes, a wand and a celtic cross
theses are more than the usual gift floss.
An alchemists chalice makes you think of magic
don`t worry though, it`s nothing at all tragic.
There are bookends and a neat door stop
none of these special gifts will be a flop.
For your child an alphabet planter, so ideal
for playing and learning fun, I feel.
A trug for the garden or house too
so many things created for you.
A spice rack and a painted clock,
a pot pourri bowl, they won`t shock.
So many lovely things for gifts or yourself
to be enjoyed, not shoved to the back of the shelf!
What more could you want, such a lovely display,
now go and browse, have fun, enjoy and play!
