#Celebration of Art #Handmade #Folksy

Thought I would show art today as it`s been over a week since we had any. I seem to be doing a lot of painting just lately because I am enjoying it so much. Did lose inspiration for a week not so long back but it has returned. It helped when we had Photos posted for a challenge that I had a go at and that was it I was busy painting with a vengeance. I am still crocheting too, making things for the summer but obviously they take a lot longer. Especially when I am trying out new designs as they often get taken out a few times before I am happy with them.
It`s been a great week with birthday celebrations, daughters, grandsons, brothers and my hubby`s yesterday. Tonight we will be having a family meal at my daughter`s. I love it when we all get together! Next weekend it will be my grandaughters birthday so more celebrations will be in order.
Today in honour of all the birthdays I am doing a BUY 1 GET 1 FREE offer across my shop. Buy both in the usual way and the cheapest item will be refunded via paypal. This is for TODAY ONLY!!
Click on either of the top two pictures to go to my shop.
Go on, have a browse you might find something you like as a gift or something for yourself.

Spring is sprung, the grass is growed,
high time the better weather flowed.
Two days of spring in a row
but can it keep up the flow.
Weather forecast says not yet
but it`s definitely coming, I`ll bet.
The sun comes out and people smile
and they seem to go the extra mile.
When its grey and wet, misery does abound
yet sunshine brings happiness all round.
I know which one I like the best
maybe I should have a weather test!
Spring cleaning now is in the air
hubby cleaned windows in the sun`s glare.
I thought about clearing cupboards out
but the very thought made me pout.
Not just yet, it`s far to soon
too much housework will make me swoon.
I did painting all afternoon instead,
I houseworked while he was still in bed.
No he wasn`t lazing just for fun
tonight he`ll be working when our day is done.
He hasn`t painted for a couple of weeks
not sure if it`s inspiration he seeks.
I expect he`ll do some more in time
whenhe`s done getting rid of winters grime!!

  4. Thank you for showcasing my "Possibilities" canvas, I have to say the picture does not do it justice as the canvas is oblong and they crop it to square.
I too love "Summer Garden" the best, it is beautiful!
